Brigham and Women’s expanded its Faulkner Hospital campus, introducing a new inpatient facility with 78 additional beds, enhanced clinical support and ambulatory areas, an extended recovery unit, and upgraded radiology and MRI capabilities.
MMS was asked to manufacture 66 bathroom pods for this project.
- Due to the limited space and the number of trades involved, patient bathrooms were identified as a critical path element.
- This client was looking for a way to reduce the schedule of the project. The team worked together to standardize the bathroom design and modify the floor slabs to accommodate the bathroom pods.
- All framing, plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tiling, painting, inspections, punch lists, and finishes were done offsite in Andover.
